I watched the clip of Buch saying that we dont have problems in america. He also said that america is a nation that is a world leader and that it has great values...I personally just dont understand how he could say that america has values when it is sending troops where they shouldnt be, when it just is killing innocent people, but thats just how i feel, i just want my friends to come back home and to be safe.

For the rape one it seems the people only want money, and now that they were caught drinking they are pissed that they aren't getting as much money. Instead I think they should go around educating people about rape and how to not be the situations they were in instead of looking for money. I mean, money is not going to make you feel better in the end. I think it's selfish. They should be helping others instead of looking for a paycheck.
As for the Olympics, I think that is kind of crappy. I don't see why they couldn't have found a girl with a voice and appearence they could settle for. They say the one singing would get equal attention, but how could that be if they were going to keep it a secret? Also I think that the fireworks thing is just obserd. Who cares how many fireworks you have? Quit trying to be what you are not. It's not like they don't already look better than America, I mean we have Bush.
As for Bush, he is a dumb fuck. Literally. What he said can be taken so offensivly by almost anyone in this country and overseas. That's the kind of thinking we don't need, ever. We always have problems and it's a part of his job to not ignore them. But whatever, it's not like we haven't let this kind of thinking slide for the last eight years.
And the poop. I don't get it. Really, poop? Inflatable poop?
That's just funny except for the part where it hit a childrens home.

I haven't really watched any television but why was her face not shown? Was it because she didn't want to be seen or was it just that the media didn't want any publicity put out there on her? I don't know could you feel me in on the info?

For bush's comment, he needs to be voted out. This stunt should show people how careless he is on our country and how he feels that the world doesn't have any problems when there are multiple things happening. Bush is not the president for us.

Tiara,

her face wasn't shown because they decided she wasn't "cute" enough. what do you think about our trend of cuteness as it's related to "import" culture like anime and other asian arts? it's often called cutification.

The thing about the rape and drinking is drinking is not illegal. She shouldn't be punished for drinking. It is somthing the government puts out for us to do and enjoy. Rape is not. Rape is fucked up and I think most women who get raped are vulnerable to being raped if they are drunk or not. I don't think it should be the womans fault at all.

For Bush to say thathe doesn't see any problems is truly scary. There are problems here with housing, gas, jobs, schools.I mean this list could go on forever. That just shows us"me" that he isn't trying to do anything to eliminate these issues because that's not whats on his mind. He's on a power trip if you ask me.Don't get me wrong I feel that are always going to be things that were going to have to work on,with that being said what is he doing to help eliminate them.
It's just feels like eveything is falling apart.if that war was here we would feel very diferent.Alot of poeple are unbiased because it's not right here in theri midst even thought they see it ont he news and some of there family are there its still not enough. This is a world wide issues that's going to affect everyone until some changes are made.

Bush has NEVER been the president for us. I even thought it was a mistake the first time he started to pop up on tv against Gore. I was what, eleven years old? The hell is wrong with the people that actually voted that year?

It just goes to show we can't rely on other to change the world. It's actually up to us like we were told, but no one takes it seriously.

so, what should bush be doing--what is the role of a president now?

samantha said...

At this point, I'm convinced he can't do anything but do the opposite of what we want. Just like he always has. It feels like we have no control over him. We say we don't want something and then he makes it happen under all costs. He is an Anti-Hero
